Privacy policy

This policy applies to the website apps.dynooh.com and to the programs offered there, in particular Dynooh SiteManager and Dynooh MiniPixels.

Website

The web server stores technically necessary access data (IP address, time, requested page, browser) in log files. They are used for operation and security and are deleted after a short time.

The website uses no cookies, no tracking and no analytics services. The chosen language is only kept in your browser's local storage.

Donations are processed by PayPal. PayPal's privacy policy applies; we only receive the confirmation and the amount of the payment.

Dynooh SiteManager

Sites, settings and passwords are stored only on your computer (passwords in the Windows Credential Manager). Login data is only used to connect to the servers you have entered.

Update check: on start the program downloads https://apps.dynooh.com/downloads/sitemanager.json to compare the version number. No data is sent besides the usual HTTP request. The check can be switched off under Settings → Updates.

Forgot password: only when you request it, the program sends your recovery e-mail address and a one-time code to https://apps.dynooh.com/api/reset-mail.php, which e-mails the code. Only short-lived counters for rate limiting are stored.

Apart from this, the program does not transfer any information to other networked systems unless specifically requested by the user.

Dynooh MiniPixels

Settings are stored only on your computer. Opened files are never uploaded. Images pasted from the clipboard are only saved locally in a temporary folder.

FFmpeg download: only when you want to convert a video and agree to the download, the program asks the GitHub API for the current FFmpeg version (BtbN FFmpeg Builds, LGPL) and downloads it from GitHub. GitHub's privacy policy applies. No data is sent besides the usual HTTP request.

Apart from this, the program does not connect to the internet.
